Worker Safety Net offers both classroom and hands-on qualification training.
OSHA's Powered Industrial Truck (Forklift) Standard, 1910.178, requires forklift training for anyone who operates a powered industrial truck, including a lift truck. Employers must document operators have been trained and evaluated every 3 years. Worker Safety Net recommends operators receive classroom retraining annually to maintain proficiency.
