Why Worker Safety Net...and Who is Ed Maurer?

Ed Maurer, the owner of Worker Safety Net, decided to open up his own shop when the company he works for had to close his occupational safety and health department for business reasons.

Ed developed much of his knowledge while working in the US Air Force's Bioenvironmental Engineering division focusing on industrial hygiene and environmental protection. (He's a retired Master Sergeant who takes this safety stuff really seriously.) He brings that experience and contacts he's developed to continue to provide critical safety services. Ed has been providing safety services to the Tampa Bay region for a decade.

Ed Maurer is a former senior US Air Force operating manager who directed industrial hygiene and environmental protection programs of several government installations. He's an OSHA-Authorized General Industry and Construction Outreach Trainer who focuses on developing new training programs, courses and training methods understandable by workers and managers of all skill and educational levels.

Worker Safety Net is your source for information about worker safety, and risk management for companies. If you’re a worker, this is about keeping you well. If you’re a company owner or executive, it’s about minimizing risk. Both are two chapters of the same success story.
